Project - NZAA Oral History Project
An online database of Oral History recordings and associated material, allowing collaborative project based learning, as well as creating an enduring historical resource for teaching and further research.
Developed with Stories Matter - free, open source software that allows for the archiving of digital video and audio materials, enabling oral historians and their audiences, to annotate, analyze, and evaluate materials in their collections. The online functionality of Stories Matter, allows multiple users to collaborate on building a single database according to their assigned user roles.
Stories Matter was developed by Concordia University's Centre for Oral History and Story Telling.
Once a meaningful database has been established, ways of online publishing of projects using clips from recordings within the database will be investigated.
